It’s hilarious what comes out of the million-dollar advertising campaign that Microsoft has vowed to deliver, starting from the Gates/Seinfield commercial to the relatively recent “I’m a PC” ads. Now, Microsoft strikes again with Laura, who is told she can have any computer she wants with $1000. In the video above, she strolls by an Apple Store, and says,
“I’d have to double my budget, which isn’t feasible. I’m just not cool enough to be a mac”
Clearly, Microsoft’s intentions here are complete sarcasm, but to the average person watching this ad, this message may not have been conveyed as such. Interesting.
