Why did Apple hack away the keypad of its wired keyboards for the new iMacs? This seems to be a little irregular, given that the new Mac Pros come with the ENTIRE keyboard. The full keyboard is an ‘upgradable’ option for free upon ordering iMacs, but why oh why did they choose to do that?

There are several rumours floating around regarding a possible Apple event on March 24th. This may be a possible hardware event related to possible new iMacs and/or Mac minis. Is this possible?
